Even if my Muse has run off never to be seen again, I'm beginning to find my inner child and play with art again...sort of...I spent some time in the studio yesterday and didn't accomplish much but at least I was out there and I do have a few ideas floating around inside my head. I tried the Zutter Bind-it-All again and THIS time, the result was much better...no O-ring disaster with this effort:
I used old Bingo cards for the front and back cover, and yes I am aware that the O-rings I used are too big for the skinny little book I created but it was a practice piece for the most part...the piece next to the Bingo book is a cover for another book still in the works. Anyway...my bookmaking idea has potential, it just needs to be refined a bit and of course, practice makes perfect...or so I hear. I also want to get started on the headboard project soon. I'm not sure how I want to do that. Should I just paint the door and if so, what color? Should I do something different with the panels on the door? Paint them a different color or glue fabric or paper on them somehow? I'll have to think about it.

I usually get answers to my artistic questions, like the one for the headboard, just as I'm waking up in the morning. Let it go and it will find you. These book things DO have potential. I like the Bingo Book alot.
