Hardly Christmas-ish-y, but I've never claimed to be one of Santa's little helpers anyway...

Of all the holidays, Christmas has never been one of my favorites...at least, not since I was a little kid.  With all the love based on giving and receiving as well as having and sharing, and the love you give and have is shared and received and through this having and giving and sharing and receiving, we too can share and love and have and receive.  When I think of the love that all you givers and receivers share, I cannot help but envy the Christmas spirit you share of having and loving and giving and sharing and receiving.  No, really!

The Daredevil...

Although I'm not as adventurous or as nimble as the young man pictured above, I have been busy getting things done around here.  I've organized all of my pictures on the computer and put everything in its own little folder...bits that I use to create the digital collages, fabric designs, the digital collages themselves...they all have their own folder now.  I'm also getting myself up to speed for Thanksgiving.  We're indulging in a few goodies from Williams-Sonoma as well as cooking a few side dishes...yum.  I have some cleaning and laundry to do, but nothing too taxing.  I'll probably work on digital stuff later today, too.  I kind of feel like I'm on a roll in that regard so might as well keep it up.

Not Much Ado About Nothing...

As the title of this post suggests, there's not much going on around here.  Most days, I wait around for a phone call from my workmen, as I have done for the last nine months or so.  Frankly, it amazes me that it only takes nine months to create a human being, but it apparently takes much longer to fix some drywall and replace a couple of doors.  Who knew?  The wonders of nature.  Anyhoo, I'm still creating digital pieces, in part because I enjoy it very much and also because I don't have to go out to the studio and paw through all my supplies and junk to do it.  Simple.  Here is another piece I call "Lost"...for clear reasons:
