I've been busy this week since company left and my time is once again my own...for now, anyway. I finished painting the dental cabinet I won at an auction several weeks (months?) ago. I wanted that cabinet for the downstairs bathroom in the carriage house, but now I'm not sure I'm happy with it there. I'll leave it for now, but it may end up as a display slash storage cabinet in the studio eventually. I've also been creating art...hard to believe, but true. Yesterday, I got my WACOM tablet out and started making digital art, too. I might as well have something that I can do at the computer for those times when we have endless company and I can't get out to the studio. If I plan things right, I should be able to work in shifts...do studio things when no one is visiting, do digital work when someone is lodged out in the carriage house and do what I can in the studio annex in between. Sounds like a plan to me...
I'm still thinking about getting set up to do enameling. I really want to do it...I just need to justify it in my own mind I guess. Only one more class in enameling, then it will be done. I might take an advanced metalsmithing class next. I took beginning metalsmithing some time back and was not crazy about it, but I did learn a few things. I'll think about it.
Here are the two digital collages I did yesterday:

They are the beginning of my "WAIF" series of digital works. As with all of my art, these images are owned by me and may not be copied or used for any purpose without my express written permission.
